Mighty-Min® Floater Doser

The Floater Doser is a portable, inexpensive, reusable dispensing device designed specifically for the metering of Mighty-Min® Supplements into animals drinking water troughs.

It operates based on the principle of specific gravity, where the Mighty-Min® mixture inside the drum, being heavier than the water in the trough, initiates the dispensing process. As animals consume water, the Floater Doser ensures a continuous replenishment of the mineral supplement into the incoming fresh water.

Constructed primarily from durable plastic materials, the Floater Doser features a single weighted assembly with inlet and outlet conduits. This design remains unaffected by the mineral supplements. The drum is filled to approximately 80% capacity with Mighty-Min® mineral supplement. If necessary, clean water is added to achieve the correct volume. Throughout the treatment cycle, the air volume in the drum remains consistent.

Upon completion of the treatment period, the drum is removed from the trough, and its diluted contents are poured into the drinking water to complete the supplementation cycle. After use, the Floater Doser is rinsed and stored for future applications.
